Anita Harrop

Anita Harrop is an Occupational Therapist with over 27 years’ experience working in acute, community and rehabilitation settings within the health context.

Anita commenced work as a private Disability Access Consultant in 2004 and in May 2010 formed a partnership with Ann O’Brien (retired) to create O’Brien Harrop Access.

As an Accredited Member of the ACAA, Anita undertakes a comprehensive program of CPD each year to keep her at the forefront of Access Consultancy practice. Her detailed approach to the intent and technical detail of Australian Standards and other Universal Design, Inclusive Design and best practice resources ensures her advice is both robust and practical. Anita’s recent projects include Fiona Stanley Hospital, Yagan Square, Perth Stadium Train Station and the Scarborough Foreshore Redevelopment.

Anita currently serves on the ACAA Committee of Management and chairs the local ACAA networking group.
